Craner Classics are proud to offer this elegant-looking Morris Oxford in stylish burgundy.
These Oxfords were part of the much-loved Farina range of family cars with the fabulous B-Series 1622cc engine, their longer wheelbase and stylish good looks, with trimmed-down fins but plenty of flair nevertheless.
The sensational bodywork is characterised by straight and corrosion-free edges with a deep glossy finish to the paintwork, and all the arches are sharp and rust-free, as the images show. The chromework and rubbers are in perfect condition, and the underside of the car is also excellently preserved.
As a mid-sized four-cylinder family car, the Morris Oxford was fitted out with various features to distinguish it from its competitors, including its characteristic and well-spaced out dashboard, equipped with speedometer, oil pressure gauge, coolant temperature gauge, fuel gauge and clock. The roof lining, seats and carpets are all in first-class order.
The 1600cc engine together with the four-speed manual gearbox puts out enough power to let this car glide along like a Rolls Royce at 60mph. The comfortable interior helps give the car fantastic ride quality, helped by its independent front suspension and deep but supportive seats.
This Morris Oxford has been well looked after by its three former owners, and comes with a large history file. Although of course now MoT-exempt, the car happens to have a clean MOT running until October.
For fans of the Farina range, this is a hard car to beat.
