Description

Here we have a charming Riley 1.5 in royal Blue paintwork First registered 09/02/1965 Chassis number RHS211389 Engine number 15RDU46662 all matching numbers displaying 59,588 miles a very beautiful smooth silent engine drives absolutely superb with very strong pulling power the engine has 2 carburettors which is beautifully balanced and starts first turn of the key.

I have driven this car for approximately 50 miles it has great road holding for a car of this age it has a lot stronger puling power than the Wolseley 1500 version with the 1 carburettor.

The bodywork is excellent in this royal Blue colour the wheels have all been bead blasted and refurbished the front bumper and the rear bumper front grill and other parts have all been totally rechromed and looks stunning, the window screen rubbers are all excellent.

The interior comes in lovely Red which is all in superb condition with resent new carpets (Please See Photos) roof lining is also excellent.

Not so many of the Riley 1500 is around now for those of you that know you seem to see more of the Wolseley’s still in service. I think the Riley is more refined than the Wolseley’s and when put side by side they almost look the same, but there is quite a lot of changers to the Riley the front of the car and modifications to the cylinder head etc.. This one we have here is a excellent example and easily keeps up with modern traffic.

Comes with a binder of old mot’s, 12 months mot and as you know its road tax is exempt and it is now ready for viewing

Viewing by appointment only at Craner Classic Cars, The Gate house, Nottingham
